Following the launch of the Fitantanana Maharitra ho Lovainjafy project with the authorities in the Ambatondrazaka district, Madagasikara Voakajy teams conducted a meeting and sensitization in the fokontany concerned.
During this meeting, 46 people were selected to be the local agents by fokontany.
They did a training on the vulnerability capacity and climate change adaptation, carried out by CARE Madagascar
.
12 fokontany in the 4 communes (Ambohidava, Amparihintsokatra, Ambatosoratra and Imerimandroso) of the Ambatondrazaka district were concerned by this project.
This project is led by Royal Botanical Gardens – Kew and funded by the UK Government.
