In order to improve the system of baobab fruit valorization operated within communities collaborating with Madagasikara Voakajy in Menabe, two fruit processing and storage units have been built in Andohaviana and Betankilotra.
The reception of these units by the communities is an opportunity to recall and reinforce the ultimate objective of the project, which is to support the conservation of baobab populations through the valorization of its fruit resources to generate fund for conservation activities and amelioration of communities livelihood.
