This year, Madagasikara Voakajy is actively participating in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge (WRC). The team already completed the 22.44 km time trial challenge last July. The Sit-up Challenge is scheduled for today, September 12, 2024. The grand finale of this challenge will take place on September 21, where our teams will run 21 km carrying 22 kg of gear through the forest and mountains of our protected area in Mangabe. This year, we have formed two teams of four people for this grand finale. Each team is composed of one MV staff member and three rangers from the local community.

Last year, we also participated in this challenge. We built a relationship with Tusk, the organizer of this challenge, to raise funds to support both us and the rangers.
