« Lemurs : precious heritage ». This was the impactfull slogan during the celebration of the National Lemur Day 3rd Edition which was held in Andasibe on October 27, 2023.
All the activities were focused on the importance of the lemurs and their habitats. The journey was marked by a visit of Maromizaha Protected Area, a carnival, traditional songs and dances, successive speeches by the authorities and stakeholders, visit and exhibition at the stands. In this context, the representatives of the youth ambassadors for lemurs conservation in Andasibe were able to participate in the carnival. This is a result of the collaboration between Madagasikara Voakajy and the Mitsinjo association through the youth project. This project and this opportunity were made possible thanks to our financial partner Darwin Initiative.

“Lémuriens: précieux héritages”. Tel est le slogan impactant lors de la célébration de la Journée Nationale des Lémuriens 3ème édition qui s’est tenu à Andasibe District Moramanga le 27 octobre 2023. Toutes les activités se sont focalisées sur l’importance des lémuriens et leurs habitats. La journée a été marquée par un circuit visite du site Maromizaha, un carnaval, des chants et danses traditionnels, des successions de discours par les autorités, visite des stands. Dans ce cadre, les représentants des 04 groupes de jeunes ambassadeurs de la conservation des lémuriens à Andasibe ont pu participer au carnaval. Ceci est issu de la collaboration entre Madagasikara Voakajy et l’association Mitsinjo Andasibe via le projet des jeunes. Ce projet et cette opportunité ont été rendu possibles grâce à notre partenaire financier Darwin Initiative.
