Madagasikara Voakajy is represented by RATOVO-ANDRIANARISOA Harilefitra, Youth Project Coordinator, at the IUCN 2024 African Conservation Forum which took place in Nairobi, Kenya, on 26, 27, 28 July 2024.

Since 2016, Madagasikara Voakajy has been working to enhance the value of natural resources in the Menabe region. A key action of this program is the transformation of the pulp of the Adansonia Grandidieri baobab, an endemic and conservation target species in Madagascar, into a marketable powder.

During recent celebrations of two international days related to Madagasikara Voakajy's activities, the organization received prestigious awards in recognition of its outstanding contributions to biodiversity conservation in Madagascar.

Restoration is one of Madagasikara Voakajy's pillars of action. At the heart of its conservation efforts lies a nursery located in its intervention zone, the district of Moramanga. This restoration project was initiated in 2019 with funding from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The goal is to produce seedlings to restore degraded forest areas.

Madagascar is home to sixteen species of frogs classified in the genus Mantella. They are endemic to the Red Island but distributed in different geographical locations. The Mantella cowani is part of this species. It was described in 1822.
